How is coaching different from other modes, like talk therapy?

Coaching is for individuals who can formulate goals and measure their success. A therapist or counselor controls the therapeutic process, while the coach is in service of the client and the client's goals.

What can I expect from a coaching session?

Destination Method® coaching is a brief coaching modality, so you can expect to get what you want in just a few sessions. The coach will ask you to be very specific about what you want. Then the coach will ask you to describe in detail how you'll know when you have it. At that point, you'll identify blocks and boundaries to your success, and the coach will employ one of the hundreds of specific change techniques that will help remove the barriers to what you want.
